Privacy Policy

Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Scurix ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you install and use any of our Shopify applications (each an "App", collectively the "Apps"). It applies to every app we publish — Product Attributes AI, AutoFAQ, VideoBG, Background Remover, Sticky Add to Cart, Recently Viewed, and App Download Banner. App-specific data and the Shopify API permission scopes each App requests are listed in the Data & Permissions by App table below.
Information We Collect
Across our Apps, we may collect the following categories of information:
Store Information
- Your Shopify store name and domain
- Store owner email address (as provided by Shopify during installation)
- Shopify access tokens required for the App to function
Store & Product Data
- Product information (titles, descriptions, tags, variants, images, metafields) accessed via Shopify's official APIs
- Theme and storefront data needed to render the App's features
- Only the data relevant to each App's function is accessed — see the per-app table below
Usage Data
- Feature usage and configuration within the App dashboard
- Aggregate analytics and engagement metrics used to improve the App
We do not collect customer payment information, and we do not sell personal data. Apps access only the data necessary for their stated functionality.

How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the App's core functionality
- To respond to support requests and communicate important updates
- To monitor performance, prevent abuse, and improve our Apps
- To comply with legal obligations
Third-Party Services
Our Apps are built on the Shopify platform and access your store data only through Shopify's official APIs. Your store data is also subject to Shopify's Privacy Policy. Some Apps use trusted infrastructure and processing providers (e.g. cloud hosting and, for AI features, model providers) solely to deliver the App's functionality. We request only the minimum permission scopes required for each App to function.
Data Storage & Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. Data is stored on secure, reputable cloud infrastructure.
Data Retention
We retain data only as long as needed to provide the App. When you uninstall an App, we delete or anonymize associated store data within the period required by Shopify's standard data-handling obligations.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@scurix.com. Uninstalling an App also triggers deletion of the associated store data.
Children's Privacy
Our Apps are intended for business use by merchants and are not directed to children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
